The magic and mystery is all around us. I love that people are light, wave and particle. I'm inspired by things that can't be seen, yet make up the fabric of our human experience. I am compelled to speak the names of things unspeakable, with a voice that is seen, but not heard.

I work in transparent layers because the organism we live in is utterly transparent, and I experience it in layers. I utilize calligraphic lines because the tactile experience is fluid, only sometimes having edges. My subject matter is always the sublime. It takes many forms. I go deep. I don't always understand why I have to dig deeper. It is an investigation. I am asking questions, here. Not trying to be the world's conscience.
I don't paint ten twisted perspectives of one expression into a figurative piece without a reason. What I am saying is that the investigation, and the resultant discovery, is worthy of the viewer's consideration.

My purpose is not to confuse or confound, but to interpret and share as a human experience.
